It started as a Slack thread at Mojo Supermarket with us creatives sharing the craziest items we’d found for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

Then with Halloween on the horizon, as inspired by the iconic haunted items from “The Conjuring” and “Annabelle” films, we started searching for real haunted items being sold on Marketplace.

Uncovering a massive subculture of buying and selling real haunted items across dozens of Groups on Facebook.

So for Halloween 2024, we sourced real haunted items from real haunted houses to create The Haunted Marketplace on Facebook.

And actually sold a real haunted house.
